New Poladroid? Heck Yes.

This is from last week...I just made this Poladroid a few minutes ago, though.

A lot happened this past week...I'm just too lazy to type it all out. We get out of school this Wednesday, so expect more Blogs after that.

&& I have music for you! If you like Jason Mraz, Colbie Calliat, stuff like that, check Anuhea out. My grandma got the cd for like, $5 on iTunes yesterday, and I listened to half of it. I like her. That kind of style.

Even More Polaroids

I find myself lucky, I was looking for a polaroid camera in thrift stores. And then someone finds Poladroid. I feel amazing.

That's Noel. My last picture of her. She is so cute.

This is me on Poppa's truck, using the self-timer on my grandma's camera, since my camera is crap. I love this picture.

I love this picture too. It's me in the middle of the backyard. I look like a hippie.

I'm gonna go back upstairs with the family now...
I'll put up more later. This is all I have done as of now.
Late.

Poladroid!

Carson Jaymz.
My baby.
My first Poladroid!

Going back outside now.
It's sunny.

Depression May Hit Home

Any minute now, my grandma will show up. Of course, that leaves about an hour before we leave for Meme & Poppa's house. (AKA my grandparents. Little Me couldn't say Grammy, and Meme means Mary in Japanese. Mary=my grandma. Poppa=my grandpa, duh. Quick lesson in Brooke.) And 15 minutes to get there.
15 minutes to prepare myself to walk into a dogless house.
Yeah, that might be a little melodramatic for this situation. But when YOUR 12-year old dog gets put to sleep, after you've had her since you were TWO, you come and tell me that I'm being overdramatic.
Tell me that.

Today is going to be pure torture. I've never been in that house without Noel. Not since before I remember. (That made sense. Your head is just on backwards.) She was half-German Shepard, half-Husky. A big dog. MY big dog. My grandma was her real owner, but she listened to me better than anyone else. Except my grandpa. He was her buddy. But she was my girl, and I was hers. She protected me like no one else.
She made me laugh, too. At 1O at night when my grandma was standing at the back door calling, "Nelly...Nelly...Noel come here baby...Noel..." she wouldn't even turn in Meme's direction. But then I came up to the door and yelled, "Nelsh here!" and she ran her little limp-jog-hop thing to the door and grinned at me.
Her little dog-grin.

I guess her getting put to sleep was a good thing. She'd been hurting for a while. Her hips were horrible. Every week she'd fall down the stairs, but she always got up. But this last one, she couldn't.
At least last Sunday when I was leaving Meme & Poppa's house, I told her goodbye. I never did that. She hated goodbye. The word goodbye. Hugs goodbye. Kisses goodbye. But this one last time, I said goodbye. I stood at the door, waved my hand toward where she was laying, and said, "Bye Noel."
And she didn't growl. Just smiled.
I'm not gonna go off on some 'oh it was a sign it was fate she did that because she knew it was the last time' HELL NO she didn't. I don't. I don't believe that.
But I am sure as hell glad that I did say that goodbye.
I got closure?
Whatever.

My mom says I growl like a chihuahua.
I refuse to eat chihuahua cheese since my grandpa told me they make chihuahua cheese out of chihuahuas.
I am gullible.
I am a gullible girl who growls like a chihuahua.
Bye now.
xoxo, Brooke.

Yes, I'm in Wonderland Again.

Argh. I have 'Long Shot' by Kelly Clarkson stuck in my head again.
So, I don't know why I set up a blog, when I normally put this stuff in the description of my sets.
Which is pretty much a blog. Whatever.

Today was pretty blah. Stupid Chicago weather got rain for fifty bazillion hours straight. Lucky for me, though, that meant the softball game was cancelled so I could hang out with Ashley after school... So we sat and played Big Brain Academy and Cooking Mama on the Wii. Instead of me sitting online all day until 6 when my mom took me and Jamie to Wal-Mart to get the stuff for Shank's present.
I feel like such a dork right now. Like 'oh Ashley said this about Sara and Sara almost broke up with Jason today because he was being a jerkface and I just want everybody to get along.'
Which is exactly how I feel but I didn't come out and just say it....
That made absolutely no sense.

I am really excited for this summer...I don't even know why. I'm not doing anything. I mean, Ashley's doing this photo thing and I'm being the Alice. It's this Alice in Wonderland photoshoot thing she decided to have, and her and Riddhi said I'd be the perfect Alice. So on Monday I went to Ashley's house for 5 minutes so she could measure me. Modeling seems like fun...I might go and do that along with my journalism.
And... on July IOth-IIth me and Riddhi are hanging out. Since that's the Jonai concert and we'll be depressed if we don't do anything. OR we get the tickets that I entered for in the I7 Magazine contest and we go to the IOth concert. Either way it will be amazing.
And the next week my aunt's coming. For our birthday. 'Cause me, my sister Abby, and my grandma were all born on the same day. Different years, but all on the 24th. So that's a big thing.
But will anyone read this?
I doubt it.
I think I'm going to change the layout of this thing and then watch Alice or a different Classic Disney movie...and play real Solitaire.
So, Ciao.
xoxo, Brooke.
